Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach Resort

The beach is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the property is beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout, and their warm attitude made the stay memorable. I had a wonderful visit and would happily return. I'd love to see the resort take the next step toward a full resort experience. The beach lounge chairs could be upgraded, and drink and snack service on the beach, like at other top Caribbean resorts, would make a big difference. With a few small improvements, it could easily become a true 5-star destination in the BVI.

A very secluded hotel sits on a beautiful beach, but guests need more amenities and activities. There was no beach service or real presence, which would have made it nicer to spend time there. The pool was nice, and the food at the one restaurant, The Turtle, was OK. Keeping busy meant leaving the property by taxi, which gets pretty expensive. The hotel's taxi drivers were really cool and took us to beaches, restaurants, parks and more. Ask for Bob, he'll keep you busy.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation here and will definitely be back. The restaurant, rooms and beach were all great, but the people are what make this place the best. Shazz and John at the Turtle restaurant deserve a special thank you. They make us feel like family every time we stay. Be sure to book a massage and stop at the little gift shop. I found a great sun shirt and souvenirs for the family.

I’m writing this in tears after being treated so disrespectfully by the manager at the Wyndham Lambert Beach location. I’ve been a Club Wyndham member for life and have never had customer service this harsh and dismissive. I’m a business owner and grew up in hospitality, and I’ve never seen this kind of treatment. I live in the United States, but my family has been on the island for years, which is part of why getting married there matters so much to me. I went to the location on January 8 around 11:30 am, hoping to host my wedding there. There was no check-in line and the staff were idle, but neither looked up or greeted us. I introduced myself to a younger staff member, who was pleasant and directed me to the manager, whose name may have been Vita or Gita. No one wore name tags, so I don't know the correct spelling. The manager didn't greet me. When I said I wanted to book my wedding, she curtly asked, “when?” I said September 2026. She replied, “We aren’t open then.” She gave no further information and dismissed me. I had to ask which months they operate, and she answered as if I was annoying her, “We open back in October”. She didn't offer anything else. I asked about wedding packages and was told there were none, but I could fill out a general inquiry form online. I asked for a tour, and she rudely said she was waiting for a phone call. I understood appointments matter and explained that I was on vacation for a limited time and had stopped by because I was nearby. She offered no alternative dates or times. I had to ask when I could return to see the property, and she said January 13th. When I asked if she'd take my name, email or phone number to confirm, she said no and stared at me. There were no next steps or explanation for her rudeness. I thanked her and left. Back at my car, I felt ashamed and embarrassed, and it brought me to tears. I called to say I was unhappy with the service and kindly asked if another staff member could give me a tour when I returned on the 13th. They put the same manager on the phone. She rudely directed me to Wyndham's general email for my “complaints.” I explained I wasn't complaining, just asking if someone else could help me on the 13th. She told me off and hung up. I'm heartbroken. I've been a Wyndham customer for life, domestically and internationally, and have always received excellent service. I'm seriously concerned about this manager's actions and want to make sure corrective measures are taken. This dismissive, destructive attitude toward members and potential customers is unacceptable and has no place in hospitality. I can give more detail by phone or email.
