The Mary Anne Boutique Hotel USVI

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by The Mary Anne. It has its own character, and felt like a hidden gem, especially for couples. I had a special request that the staff were kind enough to accommodate, even though they didn’t have to. When we had questions, the people working on the property were helpful. It was a great choice for our first trip to St.Thomas.

Traveling alone for the first time as a senior, I felt safe, comfortable, and at home at Mary Anne boutique. Carol helped me figure out transportation, taxis, shopping, and food. The room was clean, and there were some things in the fridge in case I arrived late and didn’t want to worry about finding food. Housekeeping was lovely and very friendly. I also adored the resident wildlife outside in the tree.

The property is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, well-kept amenities, and a pool area with stunning views. Carol, our host, made the biggest difference. She was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful from the moment we arrived, and kept making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. If you’re in Charlotte Amalie, I’d highly recommend staying here.

We were only at the Mary Anne for one night between cruises, and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The pool views were lovely, there was plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, and having a restaurant within walking distance was handy when we arrived late and were too tired to go downtown. They also had Nespresso machines and pods, plus a washer and dryer that helped us get ready for our next cruise from St Thomas. They let us check out later since no one else was due in the next day, so we had time to look around downtown in the morning. The 99 steps nearby made it easy to get there. My older husband managed going down, though climbing back up would have been hard on his knees, so we took a taxi back. Staff were helpful with ordering a cab to our embarkation pier. A peaceful, relaxing stay in Saint Thomas.
