The location is in the middle of nowhere, which made it impossible to find anything to eat during the day, and there were no hotel services to help. The restaurant and kitchen were closed apart from breakfast. Service was mediocre: no one was at reception, and when I went looking for help in the afternoon, the rest of the staff were all napping together. They barely spoke any English, which made communication very difficult. There were lots of insects in the room, too. The resort looks nice in pictures, but was poorly maintained in person. The pool was very dirty and full of seaweeds. We decided to leave for somewhere more suitable for our family, but the staff refused to refund the two nights, which was really frustrating. There was absolutely nothing positive about the stay. Don't waste your time and money, find accommodation that's better located and managed and has at least some basic services.

We had the resort to ourselves for two days, and after touring in the hot weather it was lovely to cool off in the pool. Tour guides collected us at reception, and it was easy to get around from here. When we had the place to ourselves, we were given menus and meals were cooked for us. We also got breakfast earlier than the large tourist group that arrived on our final night. They were noisy, about 30 guests, and there to party. Dinner was plentiful and really good. There was far too much to finish, but it was so tasty we wanted to try everything. The rooms were comfortable and very large, and the third-floor views were spectacular. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great resort in a great location for exploring Pu Luong. Some maintenance issues are starting to show now that it's been five years, and they should be addressed to keep up the excellent quality and standards.

We had to eat at the hotel because its beautiful location is isolated, but the food was really average. The room was a good size with a lovely balcony and decent bathroom, though it wasn't properly cleaned during our stay. Public areas were dirty too. The toilet didn't work right and we couldn't get anyone to look at it. We could only contact staff on WhatsApp, and waited 30 minutes or more for a reply. The pool was filthy, not somewhere you'd swim. When we left, the electricity was out, and the generator we'd been told was available hadn't been turned on. Breakfast was less than adequate, and there was no credit card or EFTPOS available for payment. It's a beautiful setting for a dirty, poorly staffed hotel. We'd suggest avoiding it.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay by two days, and we'd gladly return. The mountain views are incredible, with rice fields and a large pool to enjoy them from. The big, lush grounds make the resort feel special. The staff were humble, polite, and helpful. After our rainy tour, they dried our clothes for free. The room had a comfortable bed with crisp new linens, a tea pot, bathrobe, and all the amenities. The bathroom was very clean and had very hot water, which matters a lot to me as a doctor. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed generous lunches and dinners as well as a European-style breakfast. We had set #2 and recommend it as a healthy meal. A lovely resort with convenient facilities.

The staff are very friendly and do their best to make things work for guests. Views from the balcony can be great, so choose your room carefully. Keep in mind there are steep stairs and no elevator. This might be the best resort in Pu Luong, though there were a few hiccups. The door locks were tricky, and the pool wasn't very clean.
