Ebino Pu Luong Resort

The people made this stay memorable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and their warmth really stood out. We also enjoyed the massage, with friendly service from Phuong and Thuo at an affordable price. Dinners were lovely, with homely, tasty Vietnamese food that was affordable. Breakfast was adequate, though not sumptuous. The resort felt a little neglected, with some run-down areas. Our bungalow was reasonably spacious and had air conditioning, a kettle, and a balcony for enjoying the view. The bathroom had an odd, rock-shaped bathtub but no standing shower, which could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. The bungalows are set into the slopes and generally have beautiful valley views, but those numbered above 107 have blocked views. They're reached by a very steep access lane, difficult for elderly visitors. That same narrow lane runs just below the bungalows and down to the village, so motorcycles pass from time to time, along with the occasional instagrammer posing in the rice fields. Inside the resort, paths are steep and uneven. In the multi-storey main building, all the rooms upstairs require using steps, as there's no lift. Those rooms have French windows facing the countryside, but they open onto a shared access corridor and may lack privacy. Overall, Ebino was a bit of a mixed bag.

The food was delicious, and the staff were professional and attentive. The rooms were clean and beautifully designed, and the location was excellent. A very pleasant stay!

In the middle of the night, the staff arranged a room for us and came to pick us up. They were amazing throughout. The room was super clean and beautiful, and the view from it was breathtaking.

My whole family had a great time, and all the staff welcomed and helped us nicely. The view was amazing, the most beautiful in Pu Luong, and we received a room upgrade from the agent Jennifer. We'd definitely come again and highly recommend it. I was a little disappointed by two things. Breakfast was a bit thin on vegetables, with no fresh vegetable salads and almost no options for vegetarians or vegans. Also, there's no taxi service to the hotel except by motorcycle. We wanted to order a taxi through the hotel from the far restaurant, but they had no solution and no taxi to book. We had to walk almost 40 minutes back on foot, uphill on a steep slope. The view was lucky to be amazing, but after eating, that distance uphill really wasn't suitable. Hopefully they'll improve breakfast before we come again.
