It’s a very new hotel, and it seems like it was just built. My room was very clean and had a nice view. I could see the coffee museum of Trung Nguyen from there. The booking service team responded well to my special requests and tried to arrange a room for me. The receptionist seemed new and made a couple of mistakes: the total room cost was calculated incorrectly, and during my two-day stay the room wasn’t cleaned when it should have been. After I called, a service staff member came to clean it a few minutes later. I still think it’s a very nice place to stay.

The location is central and close to everything. I’d rate the rooms three stars, or maybe 2.5 because the air conditioning sometimes smelled like cigarettes at night. Construction noise early in the morning was another problem, though I may just have had unlucky timing. They also only give one room card, regardless of how many guests are staying. If you’re sharing with a partner, you have to leave together or knock to get back in.

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff didn’t seem to communicate with each other, and the place felt disorganized. I prepaid for seven days after being told I could stay that long if I changed rooms halfway through. When I went to the front desk mid-stay, they said there was no room to move into and that I had to check out right then. I was nearly kicked out despite having paid for all seven days. It was only sorted after they called over their manager(?), who said I could stay in my room for the full week because the new guest had cancelled. Lucky for me, I guess. I left a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door for all seven days because I didn’t want anyone cleaning the room. It was written in English and Vietnamese, but someone went in and cleaned anyway. Nothing was missing, thankfully, but I don’t understand why they ignored it. The hotel also offers to wash, dry, and iron two clothing items a day. Staff would leave the cleaned items in my closet while I was out, even though the sign was on the door. I’m confused why it wasn’t respected then either. At the end, they charged me for two 500ml water bottles I did not order. I’d bought bottles outside and brought them back, then left the empties on the table for recycling. I think they assumed they were hotel bottles. They insisted they investigated and decided the bottles came from the hotel. When I asked them to check whether I’d ever called to order water, they just said they had “investigated.” The investigation wasn’t transparent, and I believe they only saw the empty bottles and assumed they were theirs. I was constantly stressed during my stay. I was almost made to leave halfway through despite prepaying, charged for water I had already bought outside, and people entered my room even with the sign up. Please don’t stay here if you value your mental health 😣
