Saigon Ban Me Hotel

The breakfast buffet was only halfway decent, though they did seem to make an effort to rotate the dishes and keep everything well stocked. Still, I’m surprised this place is rated four stars. The gym and fitness facilities are an absolute disgrace, and the room felt old and run down. You get what you pay for, I suppose. It works as a place to sleep and shower, but that’s about all. If you’re expecting a real four-star experience, you may have better luck somewhere else.

The buffet was nice, and the tea was delicious. I also liked the comfy bed, pleasant view, and hot water in the bathroom. The hotel feels cozy, though it was a bit windy and noisy from the A/C.

It was disappointing to find the facilities poorly maintained, including the room. The bathroom lock was broken, the towel tray was falling apart, and the carpets were stained. The grand building is in a great spot, just a short walk from the market, and this is one of the best hotels in Buon Ma Thuot.

The hotel is right in the city center, which made it easy to walk around, and it was okay as a place to stay for two days. I still want to support the local hotel and hope its service improves. The guards, bell staff, and receptionists weren’t polite and seemed poorly trained. When our van stopped to pick people up or drop them off, staff hurried us along for other cars. We were all hotel guests, so surely people who arrived later could wait their turn. When my room lost internet, I called reception, but they didn’t seem happy to help. I don’t know why they were unhappy about it.
