This hotel has definitely seen better days. I ended up paying a 200 VND fine for a key card that’s just a piece of plastic. The elevator kept stopping at every floor, and the hotel is on a busy main road, so it isn’t a good spot if you want to walk around. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The building is rundown and looks like it hasn’t been maintained. They charged me 140k for laundry, even though that amount of clothing usually costs around 50k. Felt like a rip-off.

The room is passable if you just need somewhere to stay, but it doesn’t feel luxurious. The bathtub is very high, the floor gets extra slippery when wet, and there’s a visible gap between the tub and the wall where water could get through. There was no towel to dry the floor, and the curtains were broken and wouldn’t close all the way. The elevator door may close on you unless you hold the open button, since it doesn’t seem to sense people.

We were glad it was only a one-night stay. The hotel is old and run-down, and the cleanliness was below par. Our room had a fire escape with doors that wouldn’t lock, which made it feel strange trying to fall asleep. A green EXIT sign lit up the room all night. I asked reception for breakfast without meat or eggs, but we were served sausage and fried eggs in the morning.

There were lots of cockroaches in the room and toilets. The water heater was faulty, so there was no warm or hot water for a shower.
