Sheraton Can Tho

The team really made our stay at Sheraton Can Tho feel special, and I'd highly recommend it if you're visiting Can Tho. Khoa (Bellman) gave us such a warm welcome and helped us when we arrived. Thanh (Duty Manager) also made sure everything went smoothly and professionally. We spent time at the Lobby Lounge too, where Phượng took great care of us and helped us feel relaxed. The whole team clearly cares about guests.

I was only there for one night, but it left a lovely impression. The club lounge staff were warm and professional, and her good English made it easy to communicate. I felt really cared for during my stay, and I'll remember it fondly.

The Club Lounge team did a lot to help after a very bad surprise at check-in. The hotel is still transitioning to the Marriott brand, and I hope they sort things out soon. There seemed to be many long-term guests, but the lounge was still quiet, which we liked. The rooms feel luxurious and are well cared for, with good layouts, plenty of space, and lovely city and river views. The elevators are tight, though, and the team went above and beyond to help us celebrate a milestone. The central location is great for walking, with Vincom, businesses, markets, local shops, and street food nearby. Breakfast was great and had lots of local choices. We didn't stay long enough to try the other food, though the Thai restaurant seems well rated. The rooftop bar just outside the Club Lounge was lovely, with a breeze and beautiful views. We'd have spent more time there. Staff were courteous and professional. I'd come back on my next trip.

The main problem is that the hotel needs a complete renovation. The rooms and bathrooms are old and outdated, and even basic things like liquid soap weren't available. I regret paying for this stay, especially when there are much better hotels nearby for half the price. I don't think it should be called a Sheraton by any standard, and I'm annoyed with the Marriott Bonvoy group about this hotel. Some gym equipment was broken, including the foot lock on the recumbent bike. The spa was nice, but the steam room and sauna were far too cool, and some showers were missing shower gel. Breakfast was exactly what I expected. The staff, at least, were very courteous and helpful. After reading the hotel's response, I'm not sure what to say. It was so off the mark and didn't even address the problem described, and it named clients. Goodness, Marriott Bonvoy, are you going to do something about it?
