Homestay Kha Ban

We stayed in the bungalow, which was really cozy and had a great mattress. The host was excellent when we asked him to arrange transport to another city. It was a very pleasant stay at a very pleasant price. Just bear in mind that this isn't a luxury place. It's a real stay in a Vietnamese family's home, with lots of travelers coming and going, all calm and respectful. Highly recommended.

Both rooms were dirty when we finally found them, about 15 minutes into a discussion with the owner. The sheets had visible stains, and one room was much dirtier than the other, with little black bits of rubbish on the bedding. I lifted a pillow to look underneath and saw a cockroach run under the bed. I was so shocked I didn't manage to film it. The owner wasn't there when we arrived, so we had to call. Their English was very limited, and we were lucky our Vietnamese driver could talk to them. First, the owner said there were no rooms reserved, even though we'd booked two through Booking.com. After about five minutes, they said one room was ready but insisted the second hadn't been booked, though it had. We decided to cancel and find another hotel.

We rented the bungalow as a couple. It was very clean and cute, and we slept like babies. The owner welcomed us warmly and cooked local food really well. We recommend this place.

Such a lovely place. The bungalow and the family are warm and welcoming, and they're always ready to help with whatever you need.
