I stayed for 11 days and found the room fresh, very clean, and pleasant smelling each day. The furniture was comfortable, with a slightly luxurious feel, especially the gold-toned bathroom floor, bathtub, and shower. Staff at reception were friendly, respectful, flexible, and helpful with information. They even moved me to a better room at no extra cost, and the cleaning staff were always smiling and friendly. The hotel is made up of two classically styled buildings in a central but quiet area near a lake. Restaurants and coffee shops are an easy walk away, and both buildings have rooftop coffee shops and restaurants with great views. Security guards and cameras are in place around the clock, which made it feel very safe. Prices were reasonable too.

The staff repeatedly came into our room even though the do not disturb sign was on and we had told the front desk at check-in that we didn’t want housekeeping. That was really frustrating. There was also a termite problem in the walls, and we could hear them, making it hard to sleep. The place didn’t look as good in person as it does in the photos. It felt like an average Vietnamese hotel dressed up to seem more luxurious. At around 350k, it might be okay for the price, but other places in town may be better maintained and more respectful of your privacy, even if they look less flashy.

On the second day, the room cleaners came in while I was still asleep, and the air conditioning in my room was really weak. Apart from those problems, the place was great.

I was there for one night on a business trip, and the room was very comfortable. There’s no breakfast, though. Talking with the staff was difficult because most didn’t know English, but they answered questions through Google Translate. The bathroom had a very distinctive design, with golden-red flooring and traditional brass fittings.
