For the same price, the other place we tried gave us little more than a bed. Here the rooms were clean and had the basics a Western traveler might need: towels, a mini fridge, hot water, and toilet supplies. There was even a small flat-screen TV in every room. Reception seemed to speak decent English. Great value.

The room was large, but the facilities were poor and it wasn't cleaned even after I asked. They also went back on what we'd agreed about the price for two old motorbikes. We're Vietnamese, and they still didn't keep their promise. A terrible experience.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and it's a 20-30 minute walk to the riverside. But don't expect information or help for free: the staff seem nice at first, then charge a service fee even for arranging a local bus.

For what it costs, this is a good hotel. The staff were friendly and patient with foreign guests, and they tried hard to get past the language barrier and help.

The room was just okay, and walking anywhere from here felt a bit far. The bike they gave me was old and in very poor condition.
