The location worked really well for me as a solo traveler. Restaurants, coffee shops, and the market are just around the corner, and despite being near the street, it was quiet at night. The entrance looks a little odd, but upstairs is airy, clean, and quite nice. I stayed in 01/26. My room was small but pleasant, with a large window made of simple glass. That let in plenty of heat and made the room noisy when the wind picked up or the street speaker started at 5:30 am. The air conditioning worked well after I asked them to clean its filter on day two. Before that, the room was too hot. The room itself was very clean, the fridge worked, and the bathroom had a good shower, hot water, and a working fan. There was also a hot water kettle in the room. The pillow smelled, the electric socket really needed an adapter, and the bathroom door wouldn't close. The mattress was old and much too soft. It would have helped if someone could assist with booking a shared taxi. I had to figure it out myself, which cost me half a day of work. The young woman could have been friendlier. I booked through b......com, but booking directly gets you the actual price, about 25% less. That was the same throughout Vietnam.
