The staff were friendly and really helpful, and being away from the city center meant we could enjoy beautiful balcony views. The rooms are lovely too. The one thing that would make it perfect for me is a ban on smoking in the hall.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed in this modern hotel. Getting into town is the drawback: it’s nearly 4 km away, too far to walk, so you’ll need taxis.

The view from the balcony is lovely, and the bathroom is clean and nice. I was completely happy with my stay. The rooms felt safe and were clean, and the place itself is very nice. It is a little far from downtown, though.

Getting around was the main drawback for us. The hotel isn’t close to the night markets or the lakeside area, so we took taxis most nights; walking everywhere wasn’t really practical. Still, Calyssa Hotels & Village was clean and comfortable, and the friendly staff were helpful. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and hot shower, and having breakfast included was useful. It wasn’t fancy, but it filled us up before a day out. There was also a pool for a refreshing dip after exploring. For the price, it was a decent place to sleep, though not somewhere we wanted to linger. If your budget is tight and sightseeing matters more than luxury, it could suit you. For a central location or memorable extras, you may want to look elsewhere. Dalat itself is a dream.
