Casanova Dalat Hotel

Staff were great, and the location was pretty good, but this was our most expensive hotel in Vietnam and the value for money was very low. We had the top-floor bathtub deluxe room and barely slept for three nights. Laundry was being done directly below us all night, and the washroom door right beside us shrieked like metal against metal whenever anyone used it. There was no soundproofing, and people kept opening and closing that door until around midnight most nights. Please sort out the loud laundry spin and rattling, and fix the door so guests can rest. The room also didn’t feel clean. We asked for it to be cleaned and got fresh towels and toiletries, but they didn’t even empty the smelly, full washroom bin. We paid for breakfast, but when we asked, the lady said, “not today.” An hour later, I saw her cooking breakfast for others. We won’t be back.

The balcony views were beautiful, and the rooms felt airy and cool. Room quality did vary with the category, but the room service was excellent. What stood out most was how thoughtful and dedicated the staff were in helping with all our issues.

We only stopped for drinks. The views were nice, though the balcony was tiny, and it got hot inside under the plastic roof. Our coffee and tea took ages to come, and the girl seemed disinterested or too busy 🤷‍♂️

The rooms are fine, but the staff didn’t seem very interested in guests. Coffee is available, though it’s expensive. It would be nice if guests could get drinks at a more reasonable price.
