D Home Da Lat 3

The rooms were clean and okay, but D Home’s customer service was awful. My questions got irrelevant answers, with no real help at all. I stayed at D Home 3 and got caught in a surprise police inspection, so I had to move to D Home 2 for one night. It was a huge inconvenience. I’d stayed at D Home 2 twice before, and this visit was even worse, with so many problems.

Da Lat gets cold at night, but there’s no hot water for guests then =))))) Never run into this before.

We picked this place because it had an underground garage, but it’s tight and fills up on weekends. The 8.6 rating on Booking.com fooled us. We booked two nights and ended up leaving after the first, though we got a refund without trouble. The first-floor room was too noisy to sleep in. The receptionist’s phone kept ringing, and he was chain-smoking. Upstairs, the fourth-floor room was tiny, with the bed pushed against the wall. One wall was the elevator shaft, so we could hear it constantly. The bathroom was basically an exhaust pipe with a toilet set across it, leaving no room for your knees. It was dirty too, with someone’s hair in it. The sheets were wrinkled and dirty, and clearly hadn’t been changed after the previous guests, so we asked to have them replaced.

The best part was the big, pretty window view, so it might suit someone who cares about that. The room felt small for the price, without much room for extra furniture like a table and chairs. I’d messaged ahead to ask about late checkout, but still had to leave early. My 3-day, 2-night stay ended up incomplete. It was okay, just didn’t feel worth the money 👍
