We arrived around 10pm, and they’d picked up pastries from a local bakery in case we were hungry. Each day there was water and fresh fruit in the room, and the lake and night market were an easy walk away. It’s a great family-run hotel, with spacious, very clean rooms. Mine had a wardrobe, chairs, and a desk, plus a large bathroom. The shower was the best I’d had in Vietnam, with excellent pressure and a really powerful head. The bed was very comfortable too. I’d definitely stay again.

It’s a quiet place where you can rest, and the rooms are nice and clean. The girl at reception was really sweet and helpful. The location is right in the city center, and the room internet was good in case you need to work.

My partner came down with the flu when we arrived in Dalat and spent the trip in bed recovering. We stayed for three nights, and the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The people who own, run, and work at the hotel really have their guests’ interests at heart. After checkout, we realized we’d left a mobile phone behind. Our hosts immediately contacted us with a photo of it, then went to some trouble to arrange delivery to our hotel in Hanoi. We’re very grateful for their help. I highly recommend both them and the hotel.

The family-owned Hotel La Na Ni is right in the middle of Da Lat, with good food places and cafes an easy walk away. There are also several ATMs within 200m. An Australian woman who lives in Da Lat recommended it, which saved me from endlessly comparing hotels for a week-long stay before arriving. I stayed on the fifth floor in a room facing the laneway. With the windows shut, I heard no street noise at night. The room was large, with a comfortable Q sized bed, a little desk and two chairs, a wardrobe, a TV I never switched on, and a small fridge. The ensuite had a shower, vanity, and toilet. They brought two bottles of water each day and provided maid service; the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding was changed after three days. The hotel has six floors and a fast, quiet, reliable lift, so there’s no need to carry bags upstairs. Ni, the brother in the La Na Ni name, manages the hotel. La and Na are his sisters and live abroad. Ni gave me great advice, recommendations, and directions whenever I needed them. His father, Ra? Sorry, I can’t remember his name, was fun to talk with and gave me a few language lessons. Don’t expect the Ritz Hotel, it isn’t that, but it’s clean, well located, staffed by lovely people, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

I first stayed at LaNaNi Hotel about four years ago, and this was my second visit. It has a lovely family feel, with spotless rooms and a well-kept property. The family owns and runs it, and the staff are super friendly. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Đà Lạt. Tom Markos
