Dalat Pho Hotel

Tai was great with my questions and helped me rent a scooter at a good price. There's also a drinks fridge with shop prices, handy when you want a beer or water before bed. The quiet side street has restaurants within walking distance. In the morning they served us free instant coffee, bananas, and sweets, brought out by the sweetest lady. You can use the lobby kitchen and its cooking gear for free. Our room was clean and roomy, with a balcony and a big smart TV. The staff really went out of their way for us. Best hotel stay in Vietnam so far, 10/10, I'd tell a friend to stay here. Thanks to everyone working here for a fantastic stay.

For Muslim travelers and families with kids, this place really felt like home to us. The rooms were neat and very clean, and the lobby was regularly cleaned too. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The sweet lady treated my child like her own grandson and even packed water and a banana for us before the airport. They sometimes made coffee for my husband when he went downstairs to warm food, and even offered us rice. I can't say enough about their hospitality. The shared kitchen has utensils and a microwave, and there's free coffee and tea to make whenever you like. We could leave our bags before check-in, and my family and I were able to shower and bathe before our room was ready. The basement has toilets and showers, which was so convenient. There's an elevator for luggage, and we rented a motorbike from the hotel for 100k VND per day. Most places are within 15 minutes, or about five minutes by bike. We couldn't check in early because all the rooms were full, but they upgraded us at no charge from the room we originally booked, which had no balcony. I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely return and recommend it. Location, price, hospitality, rooms, service, and facilities were all great.

The front desk staff were especially kind. They let us check in early, had warned us before arrival about possible New Year noise, and gave us free bananas, candy, artichoke tea, and coffee. You can buy the tea and coffee directly from the staff too. I loved the artichoke tea, a Da Lat specialty, and it tasted amazing. I never knew artichokes could be made into tea. We stayed in Eco 2, one of the hotel's two properties. The room was spacious, with a tiny balcony shared with the adjoining room. We barely used it because the building across the street was being renovated and there was dust. The in-room facilities were good, though the sheets and linens had old stains and should be changed. The location suited me: a bit far from the night market but near Crazy House and Dinh Bao Dai. Lado taxis can take you to the center or train station. There's a chicken restaurant across the street that we didn't try, but locals were often lined up there. We had a comfortable stay despite some noise.

We planned to stay at most five days and wound up staying more than two weeks. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the room was kept very clean. Laundry service is available, and they gave us water daily along with fruit, coffee, and tea. Our room was lovely, with a small fridge and a TV we could use for Netflix. I only wish there'd been a chair on the balcony. The street is so quiet at night that sleeping was easy. Staff were very friendly, and two little cats greeted us at the door. We're really sad to leave. We couldn't find a better place, and we'll definitely come back.
