Dalat Wonder Resort

The room was beautiful, with a comfortable mattress and a lovely view, and the grounds are clearly well cared for. We also had a great day in the amusement park area. The staff there were friendly and polite and did their jobs well. The rest of the experience was awful. At night, we were sent to the wrong shuttle location and left in a dark area with no proper coordination. We spent 40 minutes in a cold forest trying to sort it out, then were told nobody would pick us up and that we'd have to pay for a Grab ourselves. Finding a Grab outside the city late at night wasn't easy. After that, we didn't feel safe or trust the staff. Even a five-star hotel can get the shuttle location wrong. Restaurant service was poor: waiters ignored guests and almost nobody could communicate in English. The paid afternoon tea was slow, with none of the presentation shown in the advertising. We were simply given a teapot and food that felt like leftover breakfast, including cheap, low-quality pastries. The restaurant food overall was mediocre, and breakfast wasn't tasty or anywhere near five-star quality. I'm not a picky eater, but we skipped dinner there and went into the city instead. The hotel staff apologized and offered compensation, but we declined. I was so stressed that I cried in the cold forest. Money or handouts couldn't make me feel at peace again, and the vacation was ruined. Despite the scenery, I don't think we'd return. Better to visit the park during the day only. Don't stay here if service, organization, and decent food matter to you.

The staff were professional and welcoming throughout our November trip as a couple. Getting around the resort was easy too: if you don't feel like walking, an electric shuttle comes with a phone call. We enjoyed wandering the village in Đà Lạt's cool, fresh air, including the strawberry fields and flower-lined paths. We ate congee hotpot and grilled local surgeon fish with garlic fried rice. The fish is a Đà Lạt specialty, and the rice went really well with it. Breakfast had a good range for the small number of weekday guests. I love coffee, so I hoped it would be better, but the food was enjoyable overall. Our villa had a stunning view of Tuyền Lâm Lake. When the porter opened the door, the green mountain range across the calm water immediately caught our attention. The balcony doors were open and the fresh mountain air came through, which made the premium price feel worthwhile. The amenities were what you'd expect from a four-star resort, including a well-equipped bathroom and a charming tub under a window looking out at the European-inspired village. The resort is about a 20-minute ride from the city center, and the scenic motorcycle trip there was part of the fun. We had a fantastic vacation and are already looking forward to another stay at Dalat Wonder Resort.

We only stayed one night while traveling through Da Lat, and even the rain didn't spoil it. The hills looked breathtaking when low clouds rolled over them 😍 The place is beautiful, the service was top notch, and the staff were pleasant and friendly 🫶

The heaters worked really well against Dalat's cold, and the surroundings were magnificent. If I came back to Dalat, this would still be one of my top accommodation choices.
