Everything in the room felt cozy and peaceful, and the view was really pretty. Nhi was especially friendly and helpful, so I wanted to thank her.

Dinner at the restaurant was good, especially the prawn bisque, and breakfast came with the room. It was hearty and delicious, and the staff paid attention to our requests and needs. The rooms were beautiful, and the whole compound was designed and decorated so carefully. You can see the effort in the gardens and furniture, which help make the place feel so peaceful. From dropping off our bags until check-out, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had such a lovely, romantic, quiet stay and left feeling recharged. I'll be backkkk 😺🐶

The sleep was awful, and I won't return to é mai, even though I liked so much of the rest of it. On the first night, roosters woke me at 3:30 AM and kept crowing until 5:30. The windows barely blocked the sound. Just as I tried to sleep again, a nearby metalworking shop started up. The next night, a strange loud, clear sound, like a gong in the distance, woke me at 4:00 AM and lasted about half an hour. It was unsettling in the quiet. I've visited Da Lat many times and heard plenty of embellished stories, but never experienced anything like that before. Then the rooster started again at 4:30, followed by the owner's dogs barking constantly and the workshop noise. I couldn't sleep at all. There are plenty of good things here. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and helpful, and the facilities were clean and fully equipped. My bed and pillows were comfortable, the room flowers were changed regularly, and the Bluetooth speaker sounded great while I watched the sunset and listened to music. Breakfast was good: I especially liked the croissant, crisp outside and chewy inside, and the generous bowl of duck noodle soup. The garden is tranquil, with sun and a gentle breeze, and a morning coffee there is lovely. But if you sleep lightly or want a genuinely quiet retreat, be aware that the nighttime noise can seriously affect your sleep. The peaceful images other travelers post don't match what I experienced.

The noise from other guests spoiled the quiet. Children were shouting and speaking loudly, and their parents didn't seem to pay attention. The road has also become crowded and bumpy, making it harder for the driver to get there. I've loved Émai for years, but I'll have to think about returning to Hoang Hoa Tham. Thi Sach is still high on my list. I have no complaints about the staff or service, they were super helpful, friendly, and dedicated.
