Hoang Gia Hotel

The only good thing was the location. The stay was awful, especially the bed. There was hair on it, little bugs went in and out of cracks in the bed, and the blankets and bed had stains that left marks on my arms and legs. The mattress was stiff and hard, the frame kept breaking when I sat down, the hot water was limited, and the bathroom was rusty and gross. I usually don’t write reviews, but people should know about this. The cleaners stole several of my things. I’d asked for the room to be cleaned because the bin needed emptying and the toiletries needed refilling. At first, some makeup items went missing. I asked reception if the cleaners had seen them, and the workers said they’d let me know when they saw the cleaner. That was my second day there. I spoke with the only cleaning lady later that day. She seemed sweet and nice, and I searched the room again to double-check, but still couldn’t find anything. On day 3, my towel went missing after room service. I thought the cleaner might have mistaken it for a hotel towel and asked for it back. They said they’d look for it. By checkout on day 4, I realized more things were gone. I knew where I’d put them. The cleaner said she hadn’t seen them and asked me to check my luggage. I emptied it and refolded my clothes, but found none of my items. I spoke to the manager, but he couldn’t do anything. Honestly, I would have given them the money if they needed it instead of having my things stolen. It was completely unacceptable that nothing could be done, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re prepared for the cleaner to take your things and try to get into your suitcase.
