Hong An Hotel

The room itself had a lot of problems: the fridge smelled, its door needed a hard push to close properly, and the toilet door was glued shut. Water drained very slowly from both the sink and floor drain. The blanket felt a bit damp, the windows seemed flimsy, and wind noise was annoying. The room also had poor sound insulation, so ordinary conversation from the next room came through. The way young guests were treated was worse. Staff seemed friendly only to experienced guests. With students aged 16-17, they were rude, opened the room door, swore at us harshly, and even threatened to kick us out if we kept playing and talking. Young guests, especially girls, were called “ignorant” and “bad-mannered,” and addressed as “you guys.” I would never stay at this MONTREAL again.

It was okay, but the Wi-Fi never became usable. They said they’d fix it, then went completely quiet about it. The refrigerator was pretty dirty too.

For what it costs, this is a pretty good hotel.
