The customer service was great. Someone spoke English when I arrived, and when I asked about a legal motorbike rental, the gentleman called to arrange it right away. They also offered me a shower before check-in if I needed one. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water and towels that smelled great.

The receptionist went out of his way to handle my simple requests, and the hotel could have been a little gem. But the management felt amateurish, and I had a mixed stay with problems around noise and cleanliness. The front office call center asked for my passport before arrival, but the on-site reception knew nothing about it. Talking to the call center only caused confusion, so you can basically ignore them. The first room faced the road, where noisy scooters with modified engines were common, even though I’d asked for a quiet room. It was also missing a shower head. The second room got very sunny early because the blackout curtains weren’t adequate. The third was dirty again, though finally acceptable, but the toilet button was broken. The bedding and furniture were generally very unclean, and I cleaned them myself to avoid another discussion about something that should be expected. I also found an unsealed water bottle, luckily noticing its level was different from the sealed ones. The kitchen stove and sink still had stickers on them, another sign of poor care. Guests partied noisily on the rooftop until 1am on the first night, right above my room. The gate is locked at 11pm, though guests are given the combination to let themselves in. The stair heights are all over the place, seemingly made according to the builder’s mood. There’s more I could say, but if I owned the property, I’d replace the management.

Good value for the money, with friendly staff. It is a bit up the hill, so expect to use Grab to get around. I do wish they’d thought more about the lighting. There was just one soft white light in our room, while the other light was a very bright blue that was pretty intolerable late at night.

As a traveller from the UK, this was by far the worst budget hotel I’ve stayed in. The whole experience was a shambles. By 11pm the staff had left the premises, leaving nobody to deal with our problems overnight, and we were stuck with the awful room. The bedsheets were filthy and clearly hadn’t been changed. There was hair all over the bedding, and dirt marks covered the pillows. When we told reception the bedroom door wouldn’t lock, they suggested we stay in the room until a locksmith could come the next day. That wasn’t practical at all. We’re tourists, so how could we be expected to stay locked inside instead of exploring town? They didn’t offer another room, which seemed like the obvious answer. Communication was also difficult because the staff spoke very little English, and the whole hotel seemed to be run by one person. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to stay away. It’s unhygienic, unprofessional, and badly run. Spend your money somewhere else.

I loved my spacious, clean, modern room and its beautiful view. Hieu and Bao at Nature Land Apartment Two were incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly, and made my stay so pleasant.
