The room had several problems. Its lock was broken, so we could only use the latch, and a bedside power outlet was broken too. The fridge wasn’t keeping anything cold. We turned on the room-cleaning switch around 9 am, but the room still hadn’t been cleaned by 2 pm. Noise from other guests in nearby rooms and the corridor came through at times. There were no bins except one by the hotel entrance. One lift on the first floor also wouldn’t go down, though a notice said it was being repaired. The clean, tidy room had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fairly good, but the choices could be wider, with more cakes or desserts and tea alongside the coffee and two juices. Most staff were friendly and ready to help.

It’s easy to walk around and discover places like restaurants from here, and the hotel is probably in the best location. The rooms were neat, breakfast had a nice range of choices, and the service was kind and helpful. I’d suggest renting a scooter to make getting around easier.

The reception was kind, and the lake and city center are only a few minutes away on foot. Our room was clean, spacious, and nicely designed, and the food was delicious with a big selection of local dishes. Sound insulation gets 9/10, since noise carries between rooms if either side gets loud.

It’s a nice place to stay around here. The no-smoking rule applies even to rooms with balconies, which was a downside for me.

8/10
The rooms are spacious and clean, with a classic interior, and it’s good value for money. The breakfast buffet was okay. The location is handy, a short ride from the local night market and within walking distance of a local favorite chicken soup spot. The broth there is flavorful and straightforward.
