Mille Fleurs Hotel

A decent, affordable place near the city center, with clean rooms and a very nice, helpful receptionist. The rooms are small but have enough space and the basic amenities. It was fairly quiet at night, though other guests could be loud. The neighborhood construction was annoying during the day, and for some reason shops nearby played really loud dance music at 6 in the morning. There aren’t any nature views from this city location.

The place feels cozy, and I liked the plants out front by the hotel and reception. The room and bathroom were tidy and clean, and they also rent bikes.

The room was bright thanks to its window, with enough amenities for the price. Mine looked out on ordinary construction, though, with no special view. The rate is reasonable and the location is great, close to the center, eateries, and shops. There’s no AC, so it gets pretty hot at night in summer. Still, it was a good fit for a short stay of 2-3 days.

The first night was fine, but the next day we found blood stains on the pillows. Neither my girlfriend nor I was bleeding, and we hadn't asked for fresh sheets on arrival because we checked in late and housekeeping had already left. Before heading out the next morning, we asked the front desk to replace the bedding. When we returned, the stains were still there. We asked again, and the woman at the desk changed the pillows instead, citing the hotel's policy of changing sheets every two days. I explained the stains were there before we arrived. She chuckled sarcastically and said to speak to housekeeping the next day, since they were off for the day. We checked in on 21 October for three nights. If hygiene matters to you, I wouldn't consider this hotel.
