We were a group and rented most of the second floor for four nights. I shared a room with my mother, with two queen beds, a modern bathroom, and a very large shower. The view from our room looked toward the church and city. We walked to the night market on several evenings, and liked both the cafe across the street and the one a few doors down. There were bakeries and good breakfast food at the end of the block. The staff were friendly and helpful, and treated us like family. The hotel also arranged our airport pickup and drop-off, and lent my nephew a motorbike to ride around the city. The rooms were clean and it was a great place to stay.

We booked four rooms, but they weren’t cleaned and no water was provided. The owner said cleaning only happened if we asked, so we did, but the rooms still weren’t cleaned. When staff came upstairs, they said they’d stopped because the guests had left. We didn’t leave until 5 PM.

They operate without issuing invoices. It feels like staying in a rented room, and when you request an invoice, they demand a 15% VAT charge. They speak as if the invoice doesn’t matter to them. Be aware and avoid this hotel.
