My Khanh Hotel

The only thing I missed was a refrigerator in the room. I was also worried at first about the lack of air conditioning, but the temperature turned out to be warm enough that I didn't need it. The water pressure was good and the water was clean. It feels like a guesthouse in a local village, with a real sense of the area and even space for a barbecue. The friendly couple who run it are very welcoming.

The room was smaller than I expected, there was no refrigerator, and the only shared space was a barbecue area that the owner hadn't cleaned. We had to pay enough money right when we arrived, which made me feel as if the owner didn't trust guests to pay later. The owner and staff were cold, didn't greet or ask anything, and never seemed friendly. Their faces were tense and they didn't even smile when guests arrived. I wasn't satisfied with the service, the quality, or the staff's attitude. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

We had a really comfortable three-night stay. The owners were so friendly and gave us great advice, and having a place to barbecue was my favorite part. Very cool, I'll come back and tell my friends about it.

The barbecue area was the one good part. I've visited Da Lat lots of times, but never before had I been asked to pay the full room price before I could even check in. I couldn't tell whether the very cold people working there were staff or the owners. They didn't say goodbye when I checked out and went straight to sweeping the floor. The room was missing amenities compared with other places I've stayed. I don't want to stay there again.
