It’s cheap for such a good location, right across from the night market, with McDonald’s next door. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. No aircon, just a fan, and there’s no elevator, but the staff help with luggage. You can walk to pretty much anywhere from here. Would recommend 100%.

The location was the one real plus, with convenient access to nearby attractions. The rest of my stay at the Nice Dream Hotel in Dalat was underwhelming. It’s a budget hotel, and the rooms felt stuffy while the beds were like concrete slabs. There’s no elevator, though the signs make it sound as if that’s for guests’ benefit. The breakfast buffet was a letdown too, with stale bread and rotting fruit and little freshness or variety. For all its convenient location, the accommodations and breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The breakfast area was well stocked with lots of options, and I loved it. The hotel sits right in the middle of the night market, but it was still quiet. It felt clean and safe for visitors from overseas, there’s parking if you have a car, and you can walk to anywhere. A must to have when you book the room.

Being close to the night market is the only thing going for this place. There’s no elevator across its 4 floors (G, 1, 2, 3), with rooms on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. At the staircase, they’ve put up a poster saying each step adds to a person’s longevity, which feels like an excuse or sarcasm about the lack of accessibility.

The original hotel was very bad, both for accommodation and sanitation, so there have been remarkable improvements since the “modernisation.” It still feels short of what would make it a superb hotel, though. The restaurant is moderate and needs more work, and the bedrooms would be better with bigger pillows! 😂
