We had a really fun birthday BBQ on the homestay’s rooftop deck, and the staff were helpful and nice. They speak little or no English, so I wouldn’t recommend it to foreigners unless they’re with locals. Da Lat is cold, which is why most hotels don’t have air conditioning. The heater here doesn’t work very well either, so the water gets really cold. Still, we had a good stay.

The dog starts barking incredibly loudly every morning at 6am. Aside from that, it’s a nice, cheap place in a decent location, and the staff are nice.

I had a booking, but the room wasn’t available when I arrived. The room also didn’t look like the advertisement photos.

Our minivan wouldn’t take us to the homestay because the road was so narrow.

The worst.
