RIMI House Da Lat

Really bad.

The receptionists were warm and enthusiastic, and the room had a lovely design. But it wasn't clean. Mine was the only basement room, and it had a terrible musty smell. They'd cleaned it before check-in, yet the blankets, pillows, and mattress still looked quite dirty, with lots of stains on the blankets. I also kept hearing rustling and talking from inside the walls 😭😭

A simple, small but pretty room with the basics, including hot water and wifi, plus a clean bathroom. The price is cheap, so it seems like a decent option for a Da Lat trip. It's on Nha Chung Street, close to shops like Nha Chung pancakes, stone pot beef noodles, snack shops, and grocery stores.

The staff were very kind 😺. I paid around 30 dollars a day. My room on the third floor was tidy and had a nice view, though the building has no elevator and could feel cramped if you have a lot of luggage. There was no refrigerator in my room, and one of the windows didn't quite line up, leaving a gap. I also kept hearing what sounded like a window opening somewhere at night. For hot water, you need to switch on the heater on the wall 10 minutes ahead; its capacity isn't large, so it may not be enough for a leisurely shower. If you arrive late at night, the shutter may be down, but there's a bell on the left wall to ring. The place is good for the price, and there are some nice restaurants nearby. Crazy House is a 14-minute walk away, and the lake takes less than 10 minutes to reach, so getting around on foot is convenient. The Phuong Trang bus station is about 10 minutes away by taxi. Next door, motorcycle masks are sold for 12000 dong for adults and 10000 dong for children.
