The Luxe Hotel Da Lat

I paid about 2mil/night during a major national holiday for three nights at The Luxe hotel, and felt the stay was worth it. My Premier room was large, with a breathtaking valley view that wasn't blocked at all. One side faced a building under construction, but it didn't bother me. The hotel is very central, easy to get around from or book a grab, and Xuan Huong lake is a five-minute ride away. The lounge is nicely decorated and has a good view. The facilities felt standard for a 3-star hotel. The bed and pillows were soft, though the pillows were a bit too thick for me. The bathroom itself was spacious, but the shower stall felt cramped, especially for two people. There were no bathrobes, as others have said, but we could request extra towels. Staff were friendly and attentive. I'm not sure how well they speak English, but basic requests should be fine. There were several bikes to choose from, and I picked a fairly new Airblade with Smartkeys and a powerful engine. I didn't have any trouble with the helmet, unlike some other guests.

We got there early, and the staff checked us in ahead of time without charging extra. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at Luxe hotel and came back to Dalat three months later, choosing it again for the clean room and soft bed. On both visits, we liked watching rain clouds move across the valley, and the rain made for a relaxing night. We were in L108 the first time, in a corner room with big windows and an awesome countryside view; we were upgraded to a room with a/c. The day before leaving, we watched the rain approach from a distance. They also rent motorbikes. Being right by the main road makes getting around easy, and the reception staff always greet us with a smile.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the staff were professional and welcoming. The wifi was pretty weak, though. I'd come back if I get the chance.
