We definitely wouldn't come back. The hotel looked impressive at first, but up close it felt poorly run. The young woman with blonde hair was the only person we met who spoke any English and seemed to care. Everyone else seemed indifferent. Our room looked nice and the bed was comfortable, but the balcony door wouldn't lock. There's no bathroom door, so if you need to use the toilet, whoever you're staying with will hear you. There was no heating, and the room was a bit cold. In the common areas it was freezing, so we had to sit with our coats on. They say tea and coffee are available in the common area, since there aren't facilities in the rooms. But you have to find someone to make it, and it took 20 minutes. The young man looked as if we'd dragged him away from sleep in the little room by the front gate. It's a way out of town, so you'd need to hire a clapped-out scooter or use Grab or a taxi. I don't recommend staying here.

I checked in yesterday and found the place really filthy. The blanket, sheet, and pillow smelled, and I'm not sure they'd been cleaned after the last guest checked out. There weren't enough staff around, no hand soap, and some amenities were missing. The location isn't very convenient either. I wouldn't recommend it.

April 17th 2025. Foreigners, stay away! There's major construction right next to the property, as you can see in the photo, and it may go on for months. We also had several issues today. This place is only pretty in the pre-COVID photos online. It was much dirtier when we arrived. The main reason we'd booked was the beautiful swimming pool in the online photos, and the former five-star rating. With our one-star review, the rating is now down to 4.5 stars. We were given room Tulip 1, changed into our swimsuits, and went down two floors below check-in to the pool. The water was stagnant and starting to turn green, and there were leaves all over the floor. It looked like it had been neglected for a while. At the top of the ladder was a crushed brown and black caterpillar, the kind Vietnamese people warn you not to touch because it can cause extreme itching. The grounds also looked like they hadn't been maintained in a while. We told the front desk how unhappy we were. They offered to have someone clean the pool at 5:00, but we declined. We were already in our swimsuits, and the pool should have been ready when we checked in. I asked to switch to a room with a bathtub so my daughter could at least play in one, even though we have a bathtub at home and can swim for free. They said it would cost an extra 300,000 VND. I said I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake. After she made a phone call, they moved us to another room. When they told me to move to room Tulip 3, which had a bathtub, I asked for the key. She said we could use the same key. I'm pretty sure that should be illegal under Vietnam hotel laws. The bathtub was on the patio. It looked cool in the photos, but it's exposed to the weather and hadn't been checked in who knows how long. It was full of debris and bird droppings. I tried cleaning it myself, then found the water wouldn't drain. We changed back into our street clothes, took the towels to the front desk, and said they were still clean and we wanted a refund. She offered to have someone clean the tub. I told her the drain was broken and we'd need a plumber, and repeated that we wanted a refund. She said, "No refunds, check out only," so quickly it sounded like a practiced response. I said I'd start writing one-star reviews right away, and put my phone on the counter where she could see it. She called the same person again, hung up, and repeated, "Sorry, no refunds, check out only." My daughter cried again because she couldn't use the bathtub. Since I booked through Booking, I've lodged a complaint and believe they'll order a refund. If they don't refund us, Booking is going to pay us and invoice you 1,209,000 VND. Either way, you'll pay for this. It's called karma. I texted the hotel demanding my refund and included a QR code to make it easy to pay me back the same way. They replied with nasty messages, including, "You sound like a woman on her menstrual cycle."

The design details were remarkable, and it’s a lovely place to relax. I’d definitely visit again.

They made space for our big family to feel at home, and there was lots of room for all 18 of us. The hotel fit us in on short notice, which says a lot about how hospitable they were. The decor was beautiful, modern, and clean. I enjoyed having hot coffee ready to serve myself while taking in the Da Lat view in the dining area. The lobby was comfortable too, a nice place to wait for our group or our Grab pickup. I'll definitely book here again.
