I could finally get a good night's sleep here. Most of the hotels I stayed in during my holiday had disrupted my rest, so this was one of the rare places where I slept well. The room and the rest of the Villa were very nice, and there was a safe place to park both my car and scooter overnight.

We left the morning after arriving at 8pm, even though we'd paid for two nights. The room didn't look like the listing photos, the bathroom was so tiny I could barely get through the door at 54 kg, the bed was hard, and the TV didn't work. The owner threatened us, saying her husband was some policeman and they wouldn't return our passports unless we paid for both nights, though we only stayed one. Horrible experience at this dodgy place. We really enjoyed Dalat apart from it.

Our Booking.com reservation was confirmed, but Villa Thao Nguyen never contacted us. We called to check and were told there were no rooms available. If we hadn't followed up ourselves, our whole family could have arrived to find out only then, which would've put us in a very difficult spot. I don't think the service partnership between Booking.com and Villa Thao Nguyen is good.

I showed up after making a reservation, and the sign outside still said "Rooms Available." But at check-in, they told me every room was taken. Such a waste of time.
