Ally Beach Boutique Hotel Hoian

Tram’s warm smile, attentive help, and genuine care made us feel right at home. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. She’s a real asset to the hotel. Our stay at Ally Beach Hotel was memorable from the start, with a smooth, welcoming arrival, a perfect location, spotless comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities. We can’t wait to return!

We’ve stayed here many times over the years, and it’s only one street from the beach. On our 2025 visit, flight cancellations meant we couldn’t use the first three nights of our seven-night Agoda booking. We emailed the hotel, and they let us use all seven nights starting three days later, so we didn’t lose any accommodation money. We’re really pleased with that. Breakfast is good. When many rooms are occupied, there’s a buffet. With just a few rooms, there’s no buffet, but you can order plenty of dishes and fruit from a menu. The photos show our breakfast on a non-buffet morning, including three coffees each. Still a good breakfast. We find Vietnam relaxing, come most years, and plan to return to Ally Beach Boutique Hotel next year.

The location is a bit far from everything, though you can borrow bikes to explore or take a taxi to the old town for about $5. The service was great, and the rooms were good. My TV had a large crack through the screen, which was distracting, but it didn’t matter much since I couldn’t understand what was being said anyway. What I’ll remember most is the mattress. Easily the best sleep I’ve had anywhere in Asia, and I even asked where they bought it.

Really clean hotel, with helpful, lovely staff and a breakfast with lots of variety. There’s a bar, restaurant, spa, gym, and pool, plus its own beach club just across the road. Sun beds are also available on the beach a little farther down.
