The pool and garden were the best part for me. It felt genuinely peaceful, unless my kids were making noise. The gym looks modern and overlooks that area, and there’s a lovely walking street between the buildings. We stayed for about a week and had a good breakfast each day, though it wasn’t amazing. The staff were a mixed bag, about half seemed friendly, but they checked us in early and welcomed us to the room. The hotel itself looks gorgeous when you arrive, but it sits on a busy road. With only one nearby place to eat without crossing a major highway, we ended up ordering plenty of Grab, which wasn’t ideal with little kids. I’d give it 8/10 and would come back.

The place has a distinctive look, with attractive decor throughout, and the walking street between the buildings is fun, with musical decorations and a small bar. It’s spacious, and there are rooms for private stays, business or group gatherings. You can hold weddings here too, in a hall that accommodates up to 1000 guests. I left feeling welcomed and will keep the experience close to my heart. Breakfast was delicious, with enough seating to find a comfortable spot. A chef can make omelettes or scrambled eggs, and the restaurant music made mornings relaxing. The staff were sociable, smiling, and very helpful, and the other guests seemed positive and easy to talk to. It felt like people were enjoying themselves. The team seemed to be doing their best to provide good service, and the managers deserve credit for overseeing it. This place deserves more recognition in Da Nang.

A safety issue came up when I turned on the bathtub’s hot water: it leaked, and I felt a mild electric shock. I reported it straight away, and an engineer came to inspect the room before advising that I move. Thanks to the receptionist on the 10.03.2026 night shift, who quickly arranged another room and helped me out. @Eden Plaza, please check rooms properly before assigning them and make guest safety a priority.

I was glad to find somewhere reasonably clean at short notice, but with more time to look around I’d have chosen different accommodation. This was a strange stay, with quite a few problems alongside some decent housekeeping. My room was cleaned and the towels were changed carefully each day. The bedding was remade daily, though from what I noticed it was only changed once a week. I got an allergic reaction to the detergent, sheets or towels, but I have sensitive skin. Later, I found three cockroaches upside down in my fifth-floor room during the last few days. That made me wonder if my reaction might instead have been caused by floor chemicals transferring to things. The bathroom drain smelled rotten, and covering it didn’t stop the stale odor. At night, especially late, the AC sometimes smelled of cigarettes despite my room being non-smoking. It woke me up. Opening the windows let in some air but rather defeated the purpose of AC, and still didn’t cool the room enough by itself. Reception said housekeeping would check after I reported it, though I wasn’t sure what they could do, since it seemed like an AC connection between rooms, and the smell continued. The TV remotes were taken away by housekeeping, and I had to ask for them back. Only one was returned. The TV box kept glitching and switching off, so I gave up on it. The bathroom wall shared with the next room felt makeshift and included a shared window. There was no visible contact, but I could hear everything, and it sounded as if the neighbors were in my bathroom. One night I came back to find my door open. Nothing appeared disturbed or missing, and my valuables were in the safe, but the doors have arms that pull them shut, so it seemed hard to leave it open by accident. I was annoyed. The locks also looked insecure from inside and visibly damaged, as if they’d been broken into more than once. On my last night, security knocked at 2am and came in before I could answer. They seemed surprised to find me half asleep in bed. I heard radio chatter, then they knocked again and said someone downstairs had complained about noise from above. I turned on the light to show I was alone and said I was trying to sleep and hadn’t been making noise. At checkout the next morning, reception apologized and said the room numbers had been mixed up. As a woman traveling alone, that worried me. The building is old and worn, and the entrance looked somewhat abandoned before the Tet decorations went up. Nothing in the gym worked, and the pool was cold, with some tree debris in it. Staff seemed wary and a little frosty on arrival, which I could understand given they deal with tourists who arrive with high expectations and often complain. It’s a hard job. We were friendly and they responded warmly when we spoke in passing. The breakfast offered standard egg dishes, ham, bacon, congee, soup, daily pho, sticky and stir-fried rice, cooked vegetables, potato, corn or tempura, basic salad, beef, chicken or pork curry and stir-fry, dumplings, deep-fried fish and other meats, with ingredients rotating daily. There were also three kinds of fruit, pot desserts, baked goods, toast, butter and apricot jam. It was enough to satisfy anyone, but probably not worth paying extra for. Mine was included with the Agoda room deal. There’s a sports pitch behind the hotel. One morning at 5.50am, I woke to brass band practice and loud karaoke, though it didn’t happen again during my two weeks there.

The neighborhood wasn’t great for getting around on foot, since there weren’t restaurants or tourist sights nearby, but the hotel itself impressed us. The price was very good, the facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and I was amazed by how good the buffet was. There was a strong selection each day, including fresh fruit, American dishes and plenty of Asian options like egg rolls, fried rice, pork katsu, sweet and sour chicken and egg drop soup. They also had a different fresh-squeezed juice each day, such as tangerine, carrot or pineapple, plus an omelet chef who’d cook with the ingredients you asked for.
