ELC Luxury Hotel Danang - An Thuong Walkin Street

We won't stay here again. The stay was disappointing for the price and expectations, and trouble started at check-in. Our room smelled strongly of mold, enough to irritate our throats. Staff wouldn't give us a second key card, and nobody told us there was a ground-floor lift entrance, so we hauled heavy suitcases up a very steep staircase. There are only two lifts, and they move painfully slowly, so waiting takes ages. Paying by card adds a 4% bank commission that isn't properly explained in advance. Breakfast was terrible: bad coffee and tea, fruit that ran out quickly and was seldom replenished, and tables left uncleared. The dining area often felt untidy and unpleasant. The room condition was poor as well. Bathroom fixtures were rusty, the windows were hard to open and shut, and there were ants. Sound insulation was practically nonexistent, so we heard everything in the corridor. During the day, staff noise made it impossible to rest. The air conditioning was either freezing or ineffective, with no way to set a comfortable temperature.

No complaints. The service and location were great. Breakfast came with the room, and for the price it was good, with several options. There's also a small, clean rooftop pool, nice for lying in the sun and having a swim.

I was really impressed by the hotel. The staff were very friendly and ready to help with whatever I needed, and the service was efficient and professional. The location is ideal, near the beach and lots of restaurants. I'd happily stay here again.

The rooftop pool was a welcome spot after my cycling rides, and the hotel worked well for early beach walks and swims. Convenience stores are all around, and breakfast had plenty of options for anyone who likes Western-style food. The manager especially went out of his way to look after guests, and the staff were very friendly. A great place to stay in Danang, highly recommended.
