G8 Luxury Hotel Da Nang

We didn’t try breakfast, but the shower had strong pressure and was very comfortable. I found the shampoo scent a matter of personal taste. The outlet beside the bed was handy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our clean, spacious room had a city view. Being in the city center made it easy to get around for sightseeing and meals. A comfortable, satisfying stay.

We had a wow experience and greatly enjoyed our 10 days here. There wasn’t a single bad incident, and we promised the team we’d return next year. Tina and Elly, and the staff working with them, were always helpful and served us with a smile.

The rooms were okay, but there was no soundproofing or blackout curtains, and the WiFi was slow. The rest looked poorly maintained for a 2-star hotel: dirty hallway walls, worn carpet, a pool that looked awful, and a gym with decrepit machines. There are much better options in Danang at this price. Don’t make my mistake.

We liked the decent-sized rooms and the on-site spa, but this felt like a local 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star one. The location wasn’t near good cafes or restaurants, though there were plenty of clothing shops for anyone interested in shopping. Staff attention felt selective. The reception was very warm, almost hot, and waiting there for about an hour to check in was uncomfortable. The buffet needs work: food and coffee weren’t hot enough, we had to keep asking for warm milk, and the egg station’s cooking and consistency could improve. On arrival, the mini fridge smelled strongly of durian. We also wiped a saucer with tissue and it seemed it hadn’t been properly washed.
