The stay was fine for what we expected, and when our plans shifted we chose to extend it to a week. We tried rooms in all three sections of the property. It’s quiet, reasonably placed for either walking to the old town or biking there, though after dinner the walk back took us 20-25 minutes. The staff were genuinely useful: they arranged laundry for about what it costs in town, helped ship a box home, and shared lots of local suggestions. Free bikes were a nice bonus. Cleanliness was okay for me, though it looked like the place could use a deeper clean. A couple of things could be smoother. The key cards took several attempts to open the doors in every room we used, and we saw housekeeping struggle with them too. Breakfast changed after the first two days: we found a buffet then, but on day three were asked about a form and had to order for the next morning at the desk. I knew about the advance form from reviews, but the process felt inconsistent. When we checked out, staff strongly encouraged a five-star review and said it affected their pay or bonuses. I think that may inflate ratings, so this is my honest take.

Eric made sure we felt looked after the whole time. The free bike was handy, but get one early since they may all be gone later. Laundry was quick, though it came back with a bit of a musty smell, so be clear about what you want. Still a great stay, and I’d come back.

Tin was lovely, and the staff were warm and attentive. Everything was clean and well maintained, and having a pool was a great extra. It’s around a 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping area. The road was busier than we’d expected, but it didn’t spoil an otherwise great spot.

I was so sad to leave after four nights. The room was pretty and clean, with a huge window looking over the river, and even the shower had a river view. Everyone on staff was kind and quick to help with rides, event tickets, messages, and anything else we needed. Eric and Tina especially made the stay feel special. I asked Eric where to buy sandals, and he immediately sent me to a great local shop. When I showed him my new pair later, he said he got his there too. They’ve become my favorite shoes, and they suit the surroundings much better than the ones I brought from home. I’ll remember how well the team treated us for a long time.
