The dorms were clean, with air conditioning, soft pillows, and comfortable bunks. Showers had nice hot water, and the whole place was very clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. The hostel is about a five-minute walk from the beach, with a good restaurant next door and two mini markets across the road. There's also a rooftop bar with a good-sized seating area, though it gets VERY hot up there during the day. For only $8 ( £5 ), you get a room and breakfast with two eggs on toast, coffee, bread, and jam. The famous dragon bridge is about a 10-minute ride away, depending on traffic. We stayed four nights, and it was amazing value.

We booked the twin room for a night, then decided to stay two more. The rooms were nice and very clean, and it's a safe place near the beach. The location is good, and all the staff were kind and happy to help. The manager was a really nice guy who speaks good English. It seems like a new hostel.

Glocal Hostel has comfortable, air-conditioned dorms and a great location, just two blocks from the beach. There's a clean kitchen and a rooftop with an incredible view. The staff are really friendly and kind. I totally recommend it.

We planned to stay a little while and ended up extending our stay. The staff are amazing. When someone has free time, they're happy to show you around town or ride a motorbike with you to places. One of the best hostels I've booked in Vietnam so far.

The photos online weren't accurate, and this place isn't beachside, it's down the street. The rooftop bar wasn't open. Our sheets weren't clean, the WiFi barely worked, and the air conditioning wasn't working well. The window was broken, so street noise kept us awake. They said they'd fix it but didn't. The toilet roll ran out and staff wouldn't replace it. Staff weren't very helpful either, and we felt like our presence was an inconvenience.
