Green Peace Da Nang

I picked green piece village because I wanted to be close enough to the beach without being right on it. Glad I did. After an exhausting 18-hour train ride in a soft seat, I arrived too early to check in. The receptionist let me sleep on a bench in the lobby while I charged my phone, and even went to get me a Vietnamese coffee. I feel lucky to have found this place and would definitely stay again.

I stayed five nights in September 2023, and the place itself was pretty good. I rented a one-bedroom unit and was quite satisfied with it. Housekeeping was available, and I used it every other day. There’s a coffee shop next door and lots of restaurants a 5-10 minute walk away in the Korea Town area. Everyone was helpful, though communication was lacking. My late check-in was nearly 11 pm, but nobody was there to help and the apartment building’s front gate was locked. I had to ask my Grab driver to call the property. Without him, it could have been a serious problem and I might have had to stay somewhere else that night. It took the manager almost 30 minutes to arrive. I guess the email didn’t get through or there was a miscommunication. The front desk employee works from 8 to 5, and the gate gets locked. There was a rooftop pool, but it was very small and the water wasn’t in a condition to swim in.

We loved our month here, and the amenities and location were great. On our last day I’d fractured my foot, and one of the cleaning staff was incredibly kind, helping me walk and load all our luggage into the cab. Such a nice gesture!

There were plenty of places to eat just outside the front door, and the location worked well for me. I only speak English, and the staff were extremely helpful. They were first-rate. The hotel had been operating for only 3 months, and the design and fit-out were excellent.
