Hoa My II Hotel

The room was spotless, smelled lovely, and had a really comfortable bed, so I slept well. The housekeeping team was great too, always smiling and saying hello. I was pleasantly surprised to find complimentary coffee, tea, and water, and the fridge was cold enough to keep ice overnight. After a day exploring everything Hoi An has to offer, the cool pool was a welcome way to relax. Helen and Tina made my five nights especially enjoyable. They were kind, attentive, and always went out of their way to help. I'd happily give this place more than five stars and would come back for the comfortable rooms and wonderful service.

The best part for me was the location, with plenty of shops close by, and guests can use the bicycles for free. My room's air conditioning worked better than my friend's, and it had hot water too. There is no elevator, though that makes sense for an older building. There also isn't security, which seems fairly common in Vietnam.

The location made it easy to walk to everything I wanted to see in Hoi An, and I could rent a scooter from them for a very affordable daily rate. It was good enough for getting around. They also arranged laundry, and my clothes were ready the same day, which was really handy. The staff were super friendly and could organize whatever I needed at reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities. Breakfast was fine for getting the day started, though the portions weren't quite enough for my appetite. I'd recommend staying for several nights.

You can walk to the old town from here, but the hotel sits outside the busiest part, which made the location ideal for me. The budget room is a good fit if you're after an inexpensive stay in Hoi An and still want privacy. Rooms are spacious, and there's an indoor pool. Breakfast is included and pretty good. The staff are friendly and helpful. They offer free bicycles, motorbike rental, laundry, and plenty of information about trips around Hoi An. I'd definitely recommend it.
