Hoang Trinh Hotel

We loved the city, and this place made us feel at home. The location worked perfectly, quiet enough but still walkable to the center and the bridge. Our room was cozy, the bed really comfortable, and breakfast was incredible. The staff were some of the nicest people we met in Vietnam. They looked after us so kindly, even though flooding had happened just a week before our stay.

At the end of our stay, the hotel gave us a small gift, such a thoughtful touch. The owner and all the staff, including the security guard and housekeeper, were incredibly friendly and helpful with our questions. The room was very clean, and breakfast was an excellent buffet with lots of delicious options. This has been our favorite hotel in Vietnam so far, and we highly recommend it.

Lin and An were so hospitable at Hoang Trinh Hotel. They answered all our questions, made suggestions, booked spa services, and arranged room service when my husband felt unwell. We also ate at the restaurant, where An told us she'd been the chef that night. Her pork with lemongrass and chilli was one of the best dishes I've had while travelling through Vietnam. The room was a comfortable size, with space for our suitcase without it getting in the way. We spent several happy hours in the pool, which was pleasantly warm, unlike the cold, un-swimmable pools we've often found around Asia. It was nice relaxing and chatting with staff and other guests. The one issue was a musty smell in the room, maybe from the air conditioner or bathroom water damage. We aired it out through the balcony door before shutting it and using the AC overnight. The beds were very firm, though that's common across SEA and we got used to it quickly. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Thanks to Lin, An, and the whole staff.

The area was quiet, and our room had a little balcony where we could hang out. It was also an easy walk to the older part of Hoi An. Everyone at the hotel was really nice, and breakfast was amazing. We stayed two nights and had a great time.
