Hoi An Riverland Villa

The bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but the rest of my stay at Hoi An Riverland Villa was fantastic. I appreciated the late checkout at 12:00, and check-in was easy. The team were friendly and helpful throughout, and the location was just right. The bathroom had good lighting, plenty of room by the sink for toiletries, several handy trash bins, and reliable hot and cold water with strong pressure. In the room, there was a Smart TV, a fridge, and lots of UK-type electrical outlets. I'd gladly return for another relaxing, well-serviced stay.

My room had a balcony overlooking the river, and I loved it. I stayed at the Riverland for four days and was glad I chose it. The old town, markets, shops, and restaurants were close enough, while the place was far enough from bars and nightlife to be quiet. The hostel next door did make some noise, but they shut it down around 9 or 10. Ruby, her mother, and her brother were kind and helpful the whole time, with directions, spa suggestions, and anything else I needed. They'd just opened their restaurant, and I had breakfast there on my last day.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the location was good. But the bed was very uncomfortable, and without a shower cabin, water pooled across the bathroom floor. I had to wipe it up with a towel so I wouldn't fall. The room was at most 15-20 m2, nowhere near the stated 30 m2. I was given incorrect information.

The rooms were clean and getting to the tourist attractions was easy. Ruby and her sister welcomed us into their home, and made the stay pleasant. Hospitality: 10/10 ❤️
