King Kong Homestay

I had a good stay. The room was clean, the balcony was large, and the owner was kind.

We were there for a week, and the bright rooms were tidy, with a hot, strong shower. It’s a friendly family homestay, around a 10-minute walk from the old town. There were two small drawbacks: no complimentary water, though we’d had plenty from shops in Hanoi, and patchy Wi-Fi in our room. Nothing major.

The owner and family were lovely, and the bed was comfortable. This place was brand new when I wrote this, and it was already very clean and pleasant. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to the centre. I’d absolutely recommend it 👌

We nearly passed this place by because it had so few reviews, but were surprised to find it had only recently been renovated. The staff were welcoming, and the room and rest of the property were clean. The bedroom and bathroom looked like what I'd expect from a 3-star hotel. An extra bedroom mirror and perhaps a TV would round it out, and we heard those might be added soon. I'd happily keep it in mind for another visit to Hoi An.
