The views were beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the location made it easy to reach both Hoi An and Da Nang. The Marble Mountains are within walking distance. We found the beach and sea very clean, and the grounds were clearly well cared for. Our room had everything we needed and was cleaned each day. The whole resort felt peaceful and cozy, with lovely koi fish adding something special. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Every staff member we met, from the pool team and lifeguards to reception, was welcoming. They remembered us and greeted us in the mornings, and reception even helped charge our phone when the charger unexpectedly broke. Thanks to the team for such an enjoyable stay. We’d gladly return and recommend the resort.

The final night of our 17 days traveling around Vietnam was at Radisson RED Danang, and the difference in cleanliness, service, room condition, staff professionalism, and overall experience was immediately clear. It was the standard we had expected from KOI, especially given the premium price, but KOI fell far short in almost every way. We paid for a private pool villa, yet the pool was tiny and really only suitable for children, so it didn’t justify the cost. Check-in was a mess. We arrived after 3:00 PM and were told the room was still being cleaned. After about 45 minutes, we were let in and found hundreds of ants, especially in the kitchen, plus black beetles on the curtains. We showed reception photos and waited again for another room. Nearly an hour later, the replacement had the same ant problem. Reception sent pest control spray, and a staff member apologized but said they couldn’t move us again because the hotel was fully booked. For the rest of the stay, we had to call housekeeping almost every day because new ants and insects kept appearing. It wasn’t a one-off. The hotel also seemed severely understaffed, with employees looking stressed and overwhelmed by the number of guests. I know that isn’t entirely their fault, but the guest experience suffered badly. This was by far the worst hotel stay of our trip, and I regret booking it. I wouldn’t recommend it. Da Nang has plenty of good 3-star and 4-star hotels for half the price with better service, cleanliness, and value. I’ll share photos and videos on Google Reviews because they show the room conditions clearly. I’d advise future travelers to consider other options before booking.
We spent five magical days at Koi Resort. The room, the people, and the hospitality were incredible from beginning to end. Everyone was warm, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. Thu and Ba at Reception, Phan at the Bell Desk, Hoa and Nhan at Breakfast, Hou at Manta Beach Bar, and Thanh at the Spa were some of the staff who especially stood out. Thanks for making our time in Da Nang so special. I definitely plan to return.
The private beach access was a real plus, since other parts of Da Nang are quite busy, and the pool was pleasantly warm. We stayed six nights in an ocean view room. It was spotless and had a beautiful view. Nicolas was so helpful, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had loads of options and was kept well stocked. It’s about a 20 minute drive to central Da Nang and 25 minutes to the airport. No complaints, I highly recommend it.
The koi fish in the little waterways were a special touch. We bought food and fed them every day, which added a lot to the stay. Our group of six spent six days at Koi Resort & Residence Da Nang for a birthday, in a beautiful beachfront villa with a private pool. It was spacious and well maintained, and the pool stayed clean. Any small issue was fixed right away, with efficient, professional service. The resort felt calm and exclusive. Housekeeping was excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful. The lifeguards were especially friendly and gave us handmade bamboo gifts when we left, which meant a lot. One downside was loud event sound checks at the beach from 7:30 AM one morning, with no warning beforehand. Still, 5/5. I’m glad we picked it for the occasion and would definitely come back.
