La An Homestay

The room was comfortable and really nice, with a huge, lovely bathroom, though the water pressure was low. It's about a seven-minute walk to the central area, and breakfast is included, with whatever you ask for. The people are very nice. Like others in Vietnam, they do try to sell you things, but that can come in handy when you need to arrange services. I'd recommend it.

We only planned one night but stayed two more. The bed was the best we'd had in Vietnam, with soft pillows, and the room was clean with a nice bathroom and shower. There's space to hang your things, and small water bottles are replaced each day if you use them. I try to avoid plastic, but it's handy to have one when needed. The location worked well, just outside the busy center but still close. The owners were friendly, helped with what we needed, and the price was quite affordable. We didn't eat there, though the food looked good. Free bikes were available, four in all. They weren't the best, but at least two were fine for a few hours of riding. You do need to call if you get back late so they can open the door, but they answer and let you in right away. At checkout, two of us were running a little late and asked for an extra hour, but we could only get 30 minutes. Still a great stay! A pool would make it even better :)

We were really impressed by how hospitable everyone was. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with all the basic facilities. The location is especially convenient, between the beach and the town. You can borrow a bicycle from the host to get around Hoi An.

The room was very clean and had what we needed, though the building had some old damp marks on the ceiling from earlier rain problems. The homeowner was friendly and willing to help with anything. She can arrange a private driver at a good price.
