We spent a really restful time at La Gai Homestay. Our third-floor room was spacious, clean, and peaceful, with a firm mattress that suited us well. The air conditioning and fan kept it cool, and the Wi-Fi worked great. A welcoming couple runs the place and were helpful and hospitable the whole time. Even though it's tucked away from the busy road, plenty of good food is only a five-minute walk away. We liked strolling around the two ponds after dinner in the cool night air. Bicycles are available for trips around Hoi An, though rain meant we used umbrellas instead. We had a very good stay, and would recommend it for a calm, affordable spot near the city center.

The old town is close enough, and they even have free bikes to get around. The owner and his family were lovely and kept checking that we had what we needed. It's a really cozy place. Backpackers should give it a try, and we'd stay again if we come back.

The beds were great and everything was clean. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, and were happy to practice their English when I started a conversation. Thanks for making the effort! Having a bike or bicycle around makes it easy to explore another part of town or take a break from hostel life.

We could borrow bicycles to go exploring, which was ideal. The family running the place were so friendly and helpful, and made sure we had a lovely stay. Thanks for being so welcoming. I'd definitely recommend staying here ❤️

The hosts were incredibly considerate when my bus got in at 5 a.m. They reassured me that arriving then for check-in was fine, and the process itself was easy. My room was clean and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. They have two children, but I never heard them make a sound. The host even offered me a free ride to my next hostel, which was so kind of him. I'd happily return and stay longer. Such lovely people!
