Lama Homestay Hoi An

Beautiful rice field views and a pleasant rural area of hoi an, with an 8 minute motorbike ride to the beach and about 10 to old town. The price was great, too. Our host was accommodating, communicated well, and dealt with issues quickly. There are quite a few bugs on the property, and you’ll probably see cockroaches, but that’s rural life and they do a good job keeping things clean. Also, they have the sweetest dog. He’ll let you pick him up and hold him like a little baby.

We planned to stay 4 nights, but fell in love with the place and ended up staying 2 weeks. We’d have stayed longer if our Visa wasn’t about to expire. With our family of 2+4 little ones, we couldn’t imagine a better place in Vietnam. The family is so hospitable, and they clean the rooms daily and do laundry when needed. Rooms are bright and very spacious, with a great shower. There’s a handy outdoor eating area, and we loved the peaceful, nature-filled setting with easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. The pool was great. I’d definitely come back.

The owner is super sweet and friendly. I lived here for a few months and really liked the beautiful pool, community kitchen, and covered outdoor dining area, which was great for kids. Scooters and bikes are available to rent.

The peaceful green views were what I loved most. From our balconies, or just out in the corridor after pulling the curtains, there was a beautiful rice field right in front of us, with gardens and fields all around. Our family room for 2 adults and 2 children turned out to be two huge connecting rooms, with 1 DBL bed and 2 Twin beds, all very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and the toilets were huge and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. The local owners were gentle, supportive, and made us feel at home.
