Lantana Boutique Hotel Hoi An

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is close to the busy Hoi An riverside area while still being a little off to the side and quiet. I'd book a river-view room, though, since the garden view looks onto unattractive rooftops. Service was a mixed bag: they upgraded us to a river-view room for our last night at no extra charge, but seemed eager to close the breakfast and bar as soon as possible.

The staff were very welcoming and ready to help, and breakfast had enough choice with tasty food. We could walk to the old center in about 8 minutes. Our room was clean and comfortable; the furniture is old, but clearly good quality. It wasn't soundproof, so we could hear some outside noise. I feel like that's been an issue for me all over Vietnam. I also don't really understand complaints about the price list for items. If you damage property, you have to pay for it, and at least you know the amount 😂

The morning buffet was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious, with everything we needed, and the location worked perfectly for sightseeing. I've stayed at Lantana twice before, and this time I brought my girlfriend. They surprised us with a welcome-back treat in our room. We had another wonderful stay and felt right at home.

The location worked perfectly for us: we could walk to everything we wanted to do, then get away from the town noise when it was time to relax. Breakfast was awesome, and our room was comfortable, clean, and had great AC. We booked somewhere else for our honeymoon in Hoi An, but arrived to find a filthy room and went looking for another place. We were hot and exhausted when we stumbled in, and Jenny turned the day around. She showed us the room options and facilities, then took time to share recommendations that were all fantastic. While our room was being prepared, we got welcome juice and cold towels. Everyone was amazing, especially Jenny, who made our stay relaxing, fun, and memorable. Great value. We'd definitely stay again if we return to Vietnam.
