The Superior King Room with balcony was spacious, as was the bathroom, and I couldn't fault it for what we paid. The balcony got sunshine for most of the day, so my boyfriend and I could sit outside and enjoy it. LENA HOMESTAY is about a 10-minute walk from the busy area, which made it easy to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host was one of the nicest people we've met so far in Vietnam, with a warm, friendly personality, great English, and real enthusiasm for his business. He deserves all the business he gets. We absolutely loved our time there, and the owner never asked me to write this review. It's completely honest. Thank you so much :)

The family who live there were friendly and accommodating, and they cooked us traditional Vietnamese food one night. The place is about a 15-minute walk from the centre of Hoi an old town. Our bedroom and ensuite were clean, private, and looked like the photos, though the bed was on the hard side. WiFi worked well on every floor, and they have the CUTEST little dog. I'd definitely book again.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the quiet location is within a kilometer of the ancient old town. It's affordable for a long stay, and the owner has a cute puppy. Free bike rentals are available, Grab cars can find the place without trouble, and they offer cooking classes and tours. We stayed in the superior room on the first floor from June 12th to June 16th, 2024. Each guest gets a tagged key that turns on the room's electricity. The bathroom was clean, and there was complimentary bottled water in the mini-fridge. There were some downsides: the room and bathroom had a strange smell, the room showed wear and marks on the wall, and one pillow cover had brownish marks and didn't seem clean. The bed was hard. Cigarette butts were left in the plant pots. Because of the hot weather, the hosts kindly turned on a fan, but it was pointed straight at the puppy cage, which could bother anyone sensitive to smells.

The hosts were kind and extremely helpful, and there’s a lovely plant-filled balcony out front. We stayed just one night and found it a pretty cheap deal, so I can't complain. We booked directly with the host because it was cheaper than Booking or Agoda. Our room was a Superior on the first floor. It's a homestay with only two floors and no elevator, which wasn't a big deal. The Ancient town is 400m away, and they provide free bikes and motorbike rental service. The air conditioning wasn't working very well, and the floor wasn't perfectly clean, though wearing slippers indoors takes care of that. The other facilities were okay. I'd recommend it for groups of friends or young couples.
