Lyn's Hotel & Apartment

I wouldn't recommend it for the price. There are plenty of better options. The place feels run-down and gloomy, with dirt on the walls and surfaces, and it's beside warehouses. The walls are thin, so you hear everything, and at 10 in the morning staff start knocking hard on the door. There isn't even a “do not disturb” sign. Half the lights don't work, making it dark at night. No glasses, and the mugs were dirty. The repairs are poor, everything feels old, and the room is very uncomfortable.

The rooms are nice, but I'd avoid one on the ground floor. Our fridge was broken. They said they'd replace it, but that never happened.

The biggest concern was the key card. By accident, I found I could use mine to get into other rooms. I reported it straight away, but staff brushed it off and said it was secure. That means someone else could also get into your room while you're out or in the middle of the night, since the cards weren't working as they should. The room didn't look like the clean, spacious one shown on the booking sites. The facilities were in much worse condition than the photos suggested, and I only managed to take a few pictures. There were cockroaches, too. The in-room “kitchen” was a joke, with very poor equipment. Even though I had early check-in, the room wasn't ready, so I had to leave and come back later.

The room looked nothing like the listing photos. I'd booked a king room, but it seemed to be two hard double beds pushed together, and I could only sleep on the small side. We got just one roll of toilet paper for the whole stay, and the neighboring rooms were noisy. It felt like a ghetto place to stay in Da nang. Staff tried charging me for bar items I hadn't used, so I refused to pay. They also overcharged me for the bottles of water I did use. Really disappointing.
